    Feral Interactive is looking for a proactive Asset Capture Specialist to help with the production of graphics and videos for our range of desktop, mobile and console titles, with a specific focus on capturing, composing, and editing still and video assets directly from the games. This is a part-time position, initially 20 hours per week with the scope to become full-time for the right person.

    Feral specialises in successfully bringing AAA games to new platforms and audiences. Our graphic designers and video editors play a key part in helping to achieve that, and capturing footage directly from Feral’s games is vital to promoting them effectively.

    This role is ideal for someone who is excited by the compositional challenge of generating stills and footage that showcase complex games to broad audiences, as well as the creative challenge of producing engaging marketing materials for different formats and devices while working to established briefs and style guides.

    Liaising closely with our marketing and art teams, your principal role will be asset capture — be it video, screenshots, or audio — and video editing, to produce long- and short-form marketing materials including game trailers. You will be encouraged to generate ideas for new audio/visual content, capture assets accordingly, and create compelling materials.     You will almost always have multiple projects running simultaneously: time discipline and project management skills are vital, and you should be comfortable engaging in creative discussions with other members of the marketing team. While prior professional experience is not required, you will need demonstrable experience of working with a digital video editing suite, preferably Adobe Premiere Pro and the wider Adobe Creative Cloud set of apps.     This is a permanent, part-time, position based at our studios in Wandsworth, southwest London.

    Feral specialise in bringing AAA games to new platforms and audiences; our releases cover a range of genres and present a variety of quality control challenges. Our QA team works closely with our developers to identify the root causes of bugs and find solutions. As part of this, QA Technicians validate behaviour against game design checklists; run performance tests and comparisons on various hardware configurations; identify issues with graphics, performance, and gameplay, as well as UI and UX ensuring both functionality and layout are correct. They are also expected to write accurate and detailed bug reports.

    Our ideal candidate will relish the opportunities offered to impact the delivery of great games. This role is ideal for someone who is determined to find every bug and understand why a bug occurs.

    We have been consistently impressed by how well most placement students do and how much they contribute during their time with us. Those who perform well during their placement are usually offered a permanent position with Feral for after they graduate. Many current members of the company started as placement students.

    This is a full-time position for 12 months at our studio in Wandsworth, London. Placements usually start over the summer after the end of the academic year, with most students joining us during July-September.
